My wife and I ended up here because both the Cafe Militaire and a fancy restaurant at the Grand Lisboa required pants...but I was in shorts. So a very helpful assistant manager at the Grand Lisboa named Alex made reservations for us at A Lorcha. It is important to note that many of the fine dining establishments adhere to a formal dress code..dresses for women and long pants for men. As luck would have it, I had selected this restaurant as a contender and it did not did not disappoint. My wife drank the house wine while I enjoyed a nice cold portuguese beer. We ordered a cold octopus salad (which was fantastic), a sea bass and garlic prawns. Hope you like garlic as much as we do because you'll be enjoying it the rest of the day. The filipino waitress was very helpful and patient like most of the filipino service staff at the HOTELS AND restaurants in Macau. Can't say the same for the staff or the food at Fernando's on Coloane.
