1-Altitude is three concept bars and restaurants combined: 282 and City Golf, Stellar and 1-Altitude Gallery & Bar (rooftop); with all of them enjoying a stunning 360-degree view of the city.
The highest bar in town. View is great, but the bar is so so. Dress code is smart casual. No wifi. You need to pay 25$ to enter (drink included).
Try the swordfish and spicy tuna rolls at Stellar restaurant. See photos and full review at http://sparklette.net/food/1-altitude/
The bar is awesome an especially the view from the 63rd floor which is the roof top,... Cool wind and great drinks are appreciated through out the night. The services of the staff are excellent too
I came to 1-Altitude because everyone else I travelled with had already been to Ku De Ta, and apparently weren't keen to spend more money to see the same view as last time. This, thankfully, has seemed to work in my favour as an alternative to the bars atop MBS.None of us had been to 1-Altitude but we came up for a sunset and were blown away - it's true that the cost to come up is around $25 but this includes a drink, and cocktails generally cost this in the more expensive bars anyway. The view is spectacular, and on a clear day you can see for miles.Unless you're planning on eating or in a group, skip the tables (as far as I'm aware these require you to book ahead anyway, and cost a bit more) - we were only there for about 90 minutes to watch the sunset and we preferred walking around the entire time rather than trying to plant ourselves somewhere. Go up for a drink or two early, apparently this place can get very busy later into the night but for us the sunset was a great time to check it out.
Wow it’s the best place to see Singapore 360 degree, Its pretty crowded, once in a way that too is good u will not be bothered much, The staff is friendly service is good you can’t expect a lot when its crowded, the view is really really nice, I would visit the place again
Without a doubt the view is excellent and worth heading up there to take some pictures etc... Other than that, the bar is pretty poor. Cheap tables supplied for free by their beer supplier, low seating which defeats the object of the view and to be honest, a pretty poor sound system. The live band were decent enough but the music and overall atmosphere is very 'middle of the road' I think they were playing 'Simply Red' when i arrived. You pay on the way in and have to select from a very limited drinks menu. When you get the the bar you hand over your entrance receipt and they give you your drink. As you wander round you're followed by a chap with a coaster just in case you put it down on the cheap plastic table!! it's quite good fun to see how many times he'll move your glass form the table to the coaster...I think it was S$25 when we went to get in but tables are closer to S$100. Honestly couldn't see the point in having a table, as I mentioned, they're low and away form the edge so you can't see anything. Also, it's not really the sort of bar you'd want to sit and relax in. If you're at a table all you'll see are people walking round and round to look at the view...Ku De Ta is alright but Lantern wins for overall atmosphere and quality of drinks. The view there is great too.if you're in Singapore for a while then check out 1 Altitude but if you're here on a flying visit, there are many other bars which would be much more worthy of your time.

2nd stop (1st being Overeasy for a civilised catch-up) of a BING-style club/bar-hopping trail which I brought my tourist friends on ... After sipping glasses of Chardonnay by the Marina Bay waterfront, I needed to take our experience many levels higher. Up we went to the highest alfresco roof-top bar in the world at 63rd storey. I have to admit that I am not a big fan of bars located at the top of fancy skyscrapers as they scream 'TOURISTY' and I have been to a fair share of roof-top bars all over the world to be no longer easily amazed by bird's-eye view of cities. But but but but ... the scenery of Singapore from 1-Altitude was astounding. I felt so proud being a Singaporean showcasing my wonderful little red dot to my two Londoner friends (who thought London is the best city in the world ... till they got to Singapore) - as the night view of the city was spectacular beyond words. There is a decent dance floor in the middle of the bar (1 level below the 'sky deck') which was sadly pretty empty on a Tuesday night (quite expected) ... but which I would suspect would be pretty packed over the weekends. It's 25$ to get up there (inclusive of 1 drink from a wide selection e.g. singapore sling, mojitos, beer, etc.). There are signature 1-Altitude cocktails too ... we ordered 3 different cocktails and I seriously don't remember what they were - but but but I remember them to be quite potent and yummilicious! I don't think 1-Altitude is as touristy as what most people made it sound to be. There's apparently ladies' night every wednesday ... ladies get up there for free and receive a free drink (sounds too good to be true). Absolutely GREAT place for girly night-outs on Wednesdays then!
